# Skype + CellPhone = FREE VoIP Calls

Everyone should know what [Skype](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skype?ref=skatter.com) is if you don’t it’s a free VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) Client. It allows you to make free calls from computer to computer. But now, this program will be placed on CellPhones, [PDA](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal%5Fdigital%5Fassistant?ref=skatter.com)s, and [SmartPhones](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphones?ref=skatter.com). These special units will support making calls on either a WiFi or GSM/SPRS network. So when you get close to a Hotspot you will soon be able to make free phone calls. Skype has already made a partnership with Motorola to create “skype ready” phones. The devices will start to arrive in the U.S. & Europe around March.
